This petition is about the systemic failures the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), who had numerous opportunities to save her son and others, but they failed. That's why she is calling for an urgent Royal Commission into veteran suicide rates.

This is a national tragedy, and something needs to be done about it.

The Lower and Upper Houses both agree - we need a Royal Commission.  It's time for the Prime Minister to do the right thing, and call one.
