Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert is an Australin academic and expert on Islamic studies. In August 2018, Kylie travelled to Iran to attend an academic conference on Iranian culture and history in the city of Qom, about 140kms south of Tehran.
Three weeks after her arrival, she was arrested by the intelligence arm of the Revolutionary Guard and thrown into Tehran's notorious Evin Prison. Kylie has been in prison for nearly 800 days now and also did a short stint in Qarchak prison, which is known to be the worst female prison in the world.
We ask that the Governments of Scott Morrison and Boris Johnson work together to urgently relieve the ongoing cruelty and hardship suffered by Dr Moore-Gilbert and secure her speedy release.

There has been a lot of news in the past week concerning Dr. Kylie Moore-Gilbert’s movement out of notorious Qarchak prison. It’s been a stressful time for her friends and family. The Free Kylie campaign has confirmed her return to Evin prison, though it doesn’t signify any progress in her case.
If you live in Australia, please can you email your local MP to urge the Foreign Minister to free Dr. Kylie?
